About

Sam Clark

Sam Clark graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2004 and after spending time working in international schools in Malaysia (Ipoh) and Argentina (Buenos Aires) passed the PGCE at the University of Roehampton in 2007.

He has worked in primary schools ever since as a teacher, an assistant head teacher (East London) and in his current role as a Teacher Coach across a range of primary schools in Westminster. He has a passion for human behaviour and has spent thirteen years refining his approach to go beyond the required framework of school teaching, to explore the aspirations and needs of the ‘whole pupil’.

More recently, Sam has worked with teachers and schools to build the framework for Self-Study. He has written and taught the lessons for every year group and taken feedback from school leaders, psychologists and the local authority.

While Sam is able to demonstrate in the classroom that the 39 steps of the Self-Study work, he continues to monitor and improve what is increasingly recognised as a mould-breaking and innovative product.
